Mum why couldn’t you send me to the same school as Prince William?

Kate Middleton’s mother may have sent her daughter to the same school as the Prince purposely in hope that they would one day fall in love... but then again so did every other mother. And why wouldn’t you? He will one day be king after all, and how couldn’t you fall in love with his smile, pre-receding-hairline days, of course.  While Pippa – Kate’s stunning sister, and Harry – Will’s brother have been labelled the ‘hotter’ one’s of their siblings, you can’t deny that the future King & Queen’s good looks will follow Princess Diana’s style-icon ways.

Now what every girl, was waiting for, other than seeing the TV screen smooch, was to see The Dress! The dress that will define the decade resembled that of Grace Kelly’s – simplistic, yet sexy while being conservative but a classic nonetheless. Sarah Burton designed the gown under Alexander Mcqueen’s Label. Pictured is the curvy v-neck French lace, tiara and veil, handed down by the Queen Mother herself and the train, not nearly as over the top or as ‘boofy’ as Princess Diana’s.

We’ll b e sure to be seeing similar necklines that are ever so flattering to one’s collar bones as well as a lot of lace in the future, so that every ordinary ‘commoner’ out there can feel like a Queen-to-be too.
